After Jakes bagful last night, who was the last Frickley centre half to score a hat trick.

I'm reckoning we might have to dig back as far as Keith Whitley (TMc for confirmation I guess).

How about Anthony Jackson? The twist is he was playing for Worksop at the time when he scored all 3 in a 3-0 win at Lancaster in March 2007 (well you never said he had to be playing for Frickley at the time )

Thanks for the confidence Mini but I can't think of an out and out centre half defender getting a hatrick. Possibly right about Keith Whitely. Thought Jake had a good game getting up and down the pitch as well as his goals. Tom Woodhead Made a couple of very good saves at vital times. The two new lads showed promise but are obviously and are settling in well. With a bit more luck Gav, Matty Bloor, and Jason Yates could have added more goals.

Pete heaney definitely got 2 maybe 3 against Hyde sometime in the late 80's. We were 3-0 with 10 minutes left when he got shoved up front.

Think there was one a few seasons ago, but I cannot remember his name at the moment, played centre half for Hemsworth
against Bottesford recently. Had a fair few spells at Frickley, also played for Wakefield and Goole among others. Scored
three in a home game, cannot remember who against or which position he played on the night. Phil Lindley?
Upset Worksop players and supporters in a match at South Elmsall, was said to have made some comment about a player
wearing black tights. Great win and scoreline for the Tigers against Blyth tonight, wonder how many goals Tom Denton
scored?

Think he might actually have scored four in that game, I remember standing near Paul Green? who played for
Donny Rovers at the time, now at Derby County, who is a friend of the goalscorer. Might have been a cup game
or important league game as I believe there was a larger crowd than the norm.

That doesn't narrow the search down much Blade, there's 11 that do that every match

Denton scored just the one goal last night.
