I'd just like to wish Frickley good luck at Harrogate Town today. Unfortunately I cannot attend as I have personal business
to deal with in Sheffield in the afternoon. Would have loved to be able to get there.

Played some good football and never out of the game. Every blues player gave it everything. A great effort and the game could have gone our way, only some backs to the wall defending by Harrogate keep us out late on. Surprised at only 3 minutes extra time, with 6 substitutions, long treatment to a Town player not to mention the sent off player refusing to go

Best display by the Blues for a long time - should have been 4-2 up at HT, Gav hit the post & their keeper pulled off a great save.

Everyone put a shift in - just needed the rub to win it.

I've seen us play rubbish & get tanked & it's easier to take than todays defeat - we were tight at the back, Jimmy ran them to death & they didn't know what to do with Gav. They should have been down to 9 or 8 in the second half.

The Sunshine Boys gave the team a good shout - well done Wello & the crew.

Can't make Tuesday so see you all again against Stafford

Highlighted what I mean. Every team will say that at some time. That's football for you mate. Doesn't make it any easier or harder to take. Sometimes it's just basically a flip of a coin to see who wins. Unlucky really but that's how it ends up. Would have been a great help to the 50k fund.

Out of curiosity why did you call 'Wello' and his crew 'Sunshine Boys'? Be nice to know for we supporters that
couldn't make it and aren't in the know.
Sad to be out of the best cup competition in the world, just have to beat Bentley in a less glamorous one on Tuesday
night and set sights on getting to Hillsborough again in May.

Hi Blade - the name comes from the minibus that Ray hires. it says Sunshine Coaches or Sunshine Tours on the side of it.

Thanks for the information. I had visions of them turning up in fancy dress, but that isn't Frickley's style really.
Unitedites usually do for the last away game of the season. Many thousands did when Sheff Utd played Darlington
in the old Fourth Division.
I think 'Sunshine Boys' is a very good nickname and might borrow it for my writing at some point in the future.
