I see that Massiah McDonald and Bruno Holden are availiable on loan from Worksop Town, the former
would be a good signing for the Blues if they can afford the wages. Don't know much about the latter,
didn't he play for Armthorpe? Be another option up front and Massiah McDonald impressed in games
against Frickley last season.

Bruno Holden started last season at Brigg before moving to Stamford. He scored around 25 goals last season at that level. It has not worked out for him at the Tigers where he has been played as a "target man". I have read this is not his strength and he prefers to run onto through balls/run at defenders. Maybe he needed more time to adjust to the step up in standard?

Thanks for the information, Finchley Tiger. Pretty certain Bruno Holden scored a few for Armthorpe Welfare.
Doubt Frickley could loan them as they play in the same division, but I wouldn't say no to trying to sign either
striker if at all possible.

I think McDonald believes he should be playing for Manchester City, Not Frickley.

He seems to far from get on with his current manager, without doubt he was Worksop's best player against Frickley in the cup, but got dropped for the next match, he made his feelings clear on that decision via Twitter.

Upon Bruno Holden putting on Twitter yesterday "free agent", McDonald tweeted "lucky git"......Made his intentions clear there of what he thinks of his manager, and quite funny too.

Bruno Holden has turned out for Armthorpe and Brigg Town before Blade

Fairly certain you can loan players to other clubs in the same division Blade. Marc Roberts is currently on loan at Buxton from us, and last season wasn't Ben Turner on loan from us when he first joined?

first saw bruno holden a few years ago playing for selby in the NCEL,caught the eye then, whether he can play at this level now is unsure, but he is free, will want regular football, and will want to prove he can play at this level, so may be worth a punt, as for massiah, would love to see him in a blue shirt but somewhat doubt we could match his wages.

Might be an idea to loan them after all, don't think it's allowed in The Football League, wasn't thinking very clearly
earlier, had lost my wallet with season-card, debit card, medical cards etc, was in a bit of a panic. Found it anyhow.

Cannot see Massiah McDonald going down a division or league to get games. Would have though some club
would be in for him by now, though his wages could be putting them off maybe.

He believes he's good, and he was last season whenever I saw him play. Sometimes players with big egos
win things for their clubs. I like players that have a bit of belief and confidence.

Unfortunately for him without JJ (who played up front with him at Worksop last year) he's a bit like a milking stool without a cow

Must admit that he does give that impression. I remember him falling out with Edgar, who accused him of using his elbows
to his advantage. Think most players would have just got on with the game, held his own in the aguement anyhow.
Still believe with his talent he should be playing somewhere and soon.

Iv'e tweeted Massiah and told him i could possibly get him a trial at Frickley, told him we need a right back.....haha

His response was " Hahahaha , I don't know what defending is" took it in good spirits !

Bruno scored from the pen for Brigg, But then broke his ankle.
