having watched the great north run this morning an idea sprang to mind.
why not have a fundraising 2.5k/3k frickley fun run, with proceeds going towards the redevelopment fund.
be it a run,walk, or a crawl,(walking sticks and zimmer frames available) around frickley park culminating with a finish in the ground.
im sure the players and committee would also get involved.(friends,families and kids too)

100 people raising £40 in sponsorship = 4k

what do others think.
