Good luck boys at Rushall today. Hopefully last week's FA Cup win at Worksop will kick-start our season and help us get our first league victory.

Come on Frickley!

UP THE BLUES!

How much longer?
Not good enough.
Please no excuses. ( The ref, missed chances, or anything else )
As Dove posted he got it spot on, just one point out of 21 Points 7 games 1 draw.
How much longer have we fans got to endure this crap year in year out?
Yet another season down the pan.

You have to give Karl time but how much time?

The thing that worries me is most of the squad are ex goole players and to be fair goole hardly set the Evo 1 south alight in previous seasons.

Just seems that whoever we have as manager nowadays, we always seem to be in the same league position, I think I would rather be a mid table Evo Stik 1st division side than a team constantly at the wrong end of the Evo premier. :(

well this could be the season for that. i suppose the main thing is we still have clubs around who are also struggling which gives us a chance to get it right.

Why do we have to give Karl time?
One point out of 21.
And second from the bottom.

Unlucky lads- you had it all in your favour with an extra man plus the referee and linesmen in your pockets, but apart from allott there isn't much else. We felt injustice and we thrived on that. We played with real passion in that second half and ran out winners.

All the best for the season and I hope things improve for you.

Can't comment on today's performance as i couldn't make the match. Went to Stocksbridge instead for the bottom of the table clash againt Eastwood, The away team being down to 10 men after the 1st minute. They were actually the better team in what was a dire 1st half.
Much better 2nd half, nearly all SPS, Eastwoood netting with their first real attack with a great strike, Danny South rescuing the home team in the 90th minute with a well taken goal, drilling it to the bottom corner, having come off the bench around 15 minutes earlier.

Billard, Adams, Darley, and Callery all starting today, Sanasy on the Bench with South, Whitehouse was suspended and Ben Turner was not even in the match day squad, had a chat to him before the match. Obviously not happy being left out of them, but he took it on the chin. Also had a chat to Salkster and Charlie George from Stocky, who sometimes post on here. Told them i had come to watch Frickley Reserves. :D

Clearly the locals are not happy with their manager and want shut of him, 7 games into the season and that seems to be par at the moment. Clarke at Worksop, Atkins at Matlock, and some would say Rose at Frickley. But i'm not one of them yet. One win in seven or eight matches at the start of the season is about right for Frickley in the last 10 years, as with previous managers !.

Oh well, onto Tuesday and Ilkeston at home, without stating the obvious we do have to start and win our home games

we need to start putting some points on the board..and quick.
didnt expect us to win there today, reckon our first 3 points is on tuesday.
dont think its time to offload rosey yet,but he must be getting a bit of a squeaky bum now.
think the board would look foolish to get rid right now, lets have another 4 games and then see if we should part ways.

Squad looked a bit thread bear again today....It's not helping that some of the players keep buggering off on Holiday, whilst the season has just got under way !

I wouldn't disagree with that, what does concern me, is that if we carrying on not picking up results, the attendances will drop dramatically, especially as we need as many fans as possible not only to support the team, but also to get behind the funding raising/bids for the new facilities.

for semi pro players to take holidays at this time of year was unheard of only about 3 years ago, if its work related that they take em now its understandable, but theyre losing money taking them during the season, and thats not like the modern day mercenaries.
