Two pound twenty for a pint of bitter, nine quid to get in, one pound fifty a programme. Good to hear of the changes
at Ilkeston, I remember watching them at Belle Vue, Wakefield, where the fans were a little rowdy and troublesome,
a few dropped pint glasses from the bar balcony. Did have a bit of a reputation back then, but it's a new club and a new start
and Frickley fans haven't always been the best behaved in times gone by, but that was dealt with and the behaviour has
been better in recent seasons. Hope it's a good game enjoyed by both set of supporters, may the best team on the night
win, rather it was Frickley of course.
I like the idea of taking your own knife and fork, don't like them plastic things or plastic pint pots either.

That was true of virtually every club at every level of football some years ago but little of it is seen now thank God.
HOWEVER its an ongoing process and, without being silly about it, true fans need to take every opportunity, whenever unacceptable behavoir rears its head, to identify the individuals to stewards etc. and get them kicked out and banned.

When we had a spot of trouble at Ilkeston a few years ago, it was actually the stewards who started it. The fans were fine once they realised what had caused the problems and we ended up stopping in the bar for a few pints afterwards.

That sounds like a previous owners personal body guard squad. Those days are well and truly over.
