I wish the Blues well at Sandy Lane, I would have gone to it if it had been on a Saturday. A win or draw would be
good, unexpected maybe but not impossible.

For those of you who cannot make the trip tonight full updates can be found here http://twitter.com/worksoptownfc

If you have a look at the twitter feeds it does include opposition chances as well as any we manage to create. I'll have a word with Simon tonight to see if he will tweet the Frickley side before the game and any substitutions you make during the game.

Who needs Twitter anyway.......The Frickley fans are coming in their masses, probably around a 1000 making the trip to beautiful downtown Sandy Lane.

Won two-nil, goals by Indy and Gavin Allott. Best result of the season so far. Could do with a cup run and the victory
should give the players a bit of confidence and boost their performance in the league. Didn't expect it.

Terrific performance. Everybody battling. Gav Allott a solo goal beating three men before cutting in to score. One or positonal changes, Terry Barwick at right back with Jason Yates wide right upfield. Both did well. All played well.

Not bad for a dirty pub team....

Rinky - if you're reading this, get your CV ready for in the morning, 'cos the Worksop clown is on borrowed time

Great performance from Frickley tonight....Epic victory......I even had two Worksop fans shake my hand at the end of the match, and said we were well worthy of the victory, and wished us well in the next round.

It had everything you want in a cup tie, banter with the fans, some touchline scuffles with both management teams, a few players kicking lumps out of each other, and the ref getting knocked all over in the middle of it. Well to be honest that's a normal Worksop v Frickley match.

Me and Mini Maureenio even got Nibbler (a Buxton fan) cheering on the Blues 2nd half,That performance was coming, The coaching team appear to have pulled off a master stroke tonight. Switching Barwick to right back and playing Jason Yates right Mid. Barwick had a great game, and along with Allott was my MOM. We got in their faces, played some good footy, had some luck and stood up to the rough stuff, Obviously dishing out some ourselves as we are a "dirty pub team " don't forget  .

Everyone played their part, even the subs getting stuck in with the handbags on the touchline..Well done guys.

Got to mention Glyn Cotton as well, who ran himself into the ground for the cause.

p.s. I never knew Stratford had so many kids, they were all banging on the dugout asking him for pocket money i believe :D

Congrats on your first win of the season. Not surprised at all after seeing Worksop last weekend. If anything a defeat like this was coming for them. Hope we can do the same at home to Marine later today. Agrre with you sms the sacking of Simon Clarke is only a matter of time. The "relationship" between him and the fans is absolutely awful.
