Good to see former non-league player James Vardy doing so well in the Leicester City first team, always
thought he would make it eventually.
Be great if Frickley could unearth some one with as much talent, another Martyn Woolford.

It's actually Jamie Vardy, must admit he's the best player I've seen in semi professional football so not surprised he's doing well at Leicester. I bet both Sheffield clubs are kicking themselves for letting him slip through their scouting network! Believe he was at Wednesday as a youngster but got released at 16. Just goes to show some players can be late developers, take Ian Wright for example and look what he achieved.

when Neil Warnock was there, quite a few non-league players turned up on trials and played in reserve fixtures. Thought about informing the Blades about him, but didn't, believed they'd probably know about him anyhow. Called him James on The Football League
