Rumour has it that Kelvin is subject of a bid from Stalybridge with a price tag of 2 - 5k involved. Is anyone able to confirm or deny the story.

Hi.
Stalybridge fan here, I've also seen a few rumours about this.

Is he any good? worthy of the step up?

Might not even be true of course.

Andrew McCormick, who apparently prefers to be called Jake looked a class act against Garforth, so would be a welcome addition.

Saying that, I would have looked a class act against Garforth !

Good player, was asked to play out of position a lot last season as a right winger, Normally an attacking full back with good pace who has the engine to get up and down the wing. Needs more consistency with his final delivery, but that will come if he can bed down to one position. A good age, who can only improve really.

Hope he does well if he signs.

interesting article is that, would be nice for the club to get some cash in the coffers, sounds like he is on his way, good luck kelvin, and thanks for your efforts, would endorse what SMS says, needs to settle into one position and is a good age, could prove to be a good buy for stalybridge.

I wish him well with Stalybridge Celtic, if it is true. Not certain that the system of three centre halves and
two wing-backs really suits him. Probably better as a proper right back. Can only improve if he plays alonside
better players at a higher standard. Don't think Frickley could expect more money for him really.
