I believe there were a few clubs interested in signing him. Did okay for Frickley but was seldom really
outstanding and never hit the heights he did for Sheffield United's reserves. Matlock have brought in a
few players and should be stronger than last season.
Will certainly be some new players in the squad for the season to come, might take a bit of time to gel
as a team.

Took us all season to 'never quite gel' as a team last year - some of the best players I've seen up the Lane in yonks but it hardly ever clicked unfortunately. However when it did click I thought we were impressive
