Was trying without success to remember his name yesterday. It came up in a conversation about River Plate Football Club.
Saw them in a friendly at Bramall Lane some years ago. The friendlies for the Blades and the Blues look a bit poor compared
to it.
As for the captain, ideally there should be eleven on the pitch. Give the armband to Danny South, might keep him at the
club a bit longer. Prove he is valued.

Can anyone tell me the names of more than two or three players in this coming season's team ?

Let's see what players make up the team, i'm sure the gaffer has probably already picked his captain, if Matty Bloor comes with him from Goole, I expect it to be him.

Otherwise give it to Mally Wright :D

Yes, he had lots of injury problems, but he's made a good impression at Goole i believe, and has probably matured into a more consistent player.

Would you like to enlighten us on the other alleged Goole players coming to Frickley......I would have thought maybe Allott and Hellewell ? :?

I thought he looked decent at times but couldn't get a place in the side because of injuries. Captaincy might
suit and inspire him along with knowing he is first choice not just a squad player. Hope he steers clear of
injuries if he is indeed returning to South Elmsall.
Allott would be another good signing if he is fit and interested. I watched him impress for Goole a few times. Big,
strong with the ability to beat players and to score lots of goals with his head and feet.
