Ben Turner - Stocksbridge
Brad Grayson - Matlock

Looks like the starting 11 for the first match will be:

1 - Johnny Hood
Back 4 - George Clooney
Midfield generals - me, Les Commercial, Rory Dove
Enforcer - Chris Lucas
In the hole - Azi
Up front - Danny South

Methinks there might be a few former Goole players to add to your list MM.

What you talking about Blade? That starting 11 has got everything - midfield steel, proven goalscorer, flair (or flares!) & a 'they shall not pass' back 4 (1)

FT, Worksop are splashing the cash, are you worried that if they are not around the play offs by xmas, There will be a massive cut in wages or players. I think your will be up around the play offs and have assembled a very good squad.

I'm gonna come to a few games at Sandy Lane when Frickley are further away to matches i can't make

Martin he joined us at the start of last season and I was absolutely delighted as I did not see a better left back in the league the previous season whilst he was at NFU. For one reason or another it did not work out for him at Worksop and he moved to Frickley. If he shows the form I know he is capable of then you will have got yourself a very good player.

You are right we are assembling a very good squad, the manager now has to gel them into an effective team. We certainly should be up there challenging for a play-off spot along with the likes of Fylde, Hednesford, Chorley, FCUM etc. All the promoted clubs look like they may be challenging/top half sides as well to me, along with NFU where Billy seems to be building a nice squad. It's going to be a tough league again!

If we are not challenging for the play-offs by Xmas then I suspect the manager will be gone and I would hope there would be a cut in players and the wage bill, as long as it did not drag us into a relegation scrap. In my opinion there would be no point in continuing to "splash the cash" as you call it if we are not up there challenging! May as well save it so we can "splash it" the following season!

Was he the left back when we drew at your place (somehow)? If it was can remember him looking decent.

You lost both at ours, he played in the 1-1 draw at sps, Struck a hard shot from outside the box in the 2nd half, but Scotty made great save. Attacking full back who gallops down the wing, can take a free kick.

Matlock fans on Twitter quoting that Brad Grayson got 8 goals in 36 games ?. I think they will find he scored about 15 didn't he in all comps. !!
