i hope not, would not surprise me though, good enough to move up the pyramid i reckon.we had 3 decent centre backs last season ,looks like we wont have any of those 3 this coming season then if this is the case.

Yep, Don't know if he's actually signed, The manager eluded to it, in this week's express. A No Brainer for Mark really, closer to his home of Grimsby and more money i imagine, I hear they are after Danny South as well. That would be a blow if he left, but as i have said before, if anyone think's we are going to have 8 or 9 of least season's squad playing this season, I doubt very much that will be the case.

The manager will have his own irons in the fire, so to speak. Again in this week's paper he said that verbally he's got 8 players to join, that includes me and the Baines Brother's. So expectation's should be quite low next season,.. :D

On a lighter note, Iv'e been called up to Roy's squad for the Euros. as they want a midfield enforcer, No Lampard, Barry, Carrick don't want to play and Jordan Henderson is crap...........so they have sent a SOS to SMS. Yes Roy's that desperate, it was either me or some fat stumpy fella from Pontefract, but we have enough centre backs.

Hadn't seen the Express online SMS - Mark confirmed it in his Twitter feed. He also (in a Twitter conversation) asked Ben Turner where he was now.

PS - where've you been George? Showing Simonsen how to take penners?

Don't go there !!....He ain't a keeper, never mind a penalty taker. All the fans said he would cost us promo, bit harsh how it happened, but he's made more howlers in the team than anyone else, costing us x amount of points......I think i will recommend Jonny Hood to Mr Wilson.

Iv'e been busy drinking beer/wine in the Garden, and in the Nags with Brad's. :D

If i win that 92 million euros tonight, i promise to pump 1 million into Frickley to live the dream !!!...90 million will go on beer, and with the rest i will buy Greece (Not the movie/west end show), my own little country, with hundreds of little island retreats !

If you do win & buy Greece mate, have some decent plumbing put in on Crete. I'm going next month & it's a right pain in the @rse remembering to put 'toilet tissue' in the flip top bin rather than down the loo (like any normal country)

He's fine, doing a very good impression of Mr Bywater, limping around having fallen in his van apparently

Also on twitter, via James Dudgeon (new assistant). Former player Lee Stratford is part of backrooom staff ?....maybe Tea/Coffee maker :D

Already stalking, I mean following, Rosey & Dudgers. I'll hunt down Staffers & follow him too.

Is the limp a 'desirable' when it comes to the committee job spec? Seen owt of Chris Luke - he was supposed to be sorting a night out for all the big drinkers

Good memories of Crete, me and a mate went when we around 17, one of the local bar's had a arrogant git in charge, so on the last night, we and a few other lads shoved his motorbike into the waters of the harbour....Happy Days.!!

I did pass Lucas the other day, but i was in the car, he was walking the Dog....No, sorry the Dog was walking him.

Can anyone recommend any good centre halves? As for Steve Simmonsen, I'm glad he's been released. Too much a
line keeper for my liking. Wednesday sussed he doesn't like people getting close to him. He had a good game at Wembley,
but it was a horrible penalty. Still, should have been finished after the first ten pens.
A good move for Mark Gray, travelling from Grimsby to South Elmsall to play not great, North Ferriby nearer and more likelyhood of
honours there. I remember watching them at Maltby in the snow one very cold night and knew then that they were on the up
and likely to overtake the Blues - there an ambition in the club that I haven't seen or sensed at Frickley for a very long time.

James Cotterill, but I imagine his wage expectations could be an issue? Very good centre half though

Probably beyond Frickley's budget at the moment. Is there anyone in the Under 19s worth taking a look at
in pre-season?
