think it was a different john reed that played for the blues,to the one thats had a long managerial career.

It did say in the Non League paper that he had played for Frickley, there was a John Reed who also had a short spell at Frickley, Blade will maybe remember him from Sheff Utd reserves in the early nineties, a young blonde haired lad who became a journey man

Remember him well, was a good player but could fade from games if defenders gave him a kick or two. Seem to remember
him playing for Worksop. Was well thought at Bramall Lane but just didn't have the required quality or consistancy.
