Perhaps the supporters club could invite the new manager to the next meeting. He could then give us his vision for Frickleys future in the NPL. This would give Frickley1 the opportunity to have his fears allayed so we can all get on with the business of getting behind our team.
Welcome Karl Rose and James Dudgeon.

Seriously, do the board really think that this man will do a better job than the Peter?? He's not exactly worked wonders in the league below as he 10th and 13th in two seasons shouldn't give him a job in the league above! Personally I think it's a poor decision but good luck to the lad. On a tight wage budge probably Aswell! Let's see if they give you a long run which the boar have not done for a number of years! And by the way can someone please tell Me who he is? Never heard of him!

Good Post, that's already in my thoughts Bullylad, once we get a team assembled, i see no reason why this can't happen

Hope he does a job for you, but in two seasons at Goole he did nothing but made us a laughing stock - many heavy defeats, not naming full quota's of subs, getting knocked out of FA Competitions at the first hurdle.

He showed no potential at Goole and cannot see how he could elsewhere to be honest, but it may be different for you but I doubt it.

As for his assistant well he may be in the terraces more then the touchline - got a bit of a mouth on him and a little temper as well.

Who Knows if he will do a better job than Rinky, Iv'e never heard of him either, just looking forward to see what players are going to arrive and how pre-season goes.

It's surprised me, it will prove either to be a good brave decision or seen as a poor & daft decision by the board ?....let's give him some support and see how it pans out .

Let's face it, if Rinky stayed some wouldn't be happy, or whoever was brought in fans would be divided by the decision. I think the fact that he's a bit of an unknown quantity makes it more appealing........For Now :)

Frickley1 you really are a moron, i've never known a old bloke such has yourself to write childish pathetic comments on every post but you're a keyboard warrior so that's what you do, but thank you for the laughs anyway  .

So Karl Rose welcome to Frickley and i wish you all the very best. I think some people on here need to give the bloke a chance (mainly you Frickley1), i mean he's not even started his job yet and he's already getting stick. That's what maybe is wrong with this club, not giving people a chance first to prove themselves. But eh that's life i guess.

Like "Bullylad" has said maybe it would be an idea for Mr Rose himself to come to the next Supporters club meeting which is on the 28th June at 7.30pm in the clubhouse (I'll not be there if England are at the Semi-Finals at the Euros  ). Maybe it who be an idea if you actually came to the meet too Frickley1, so how about it?

Anyway best of luck Karl Rose and roll on season 2012/13 (hopefully in the NPL).

I'll second that Dove all the best Karl Rose and his assistant. Do us a good job Karl and make my season I never said you couldent or carnt but that it's never worked in the past at Frickley bringing in managers from lower leauge. ( Read my posting again Dove and dont twist what i posted, plus Dove i did wish them both well in my opening posting on this thread and have said maybe they can do us a job. Dont twist what i posted or carnt you read?) I say again maybe these two will change things for the better. Interesting comments by the Goole fans dont you think? but they could be a bit upset about losing him.
Dove we keep giving you a chance so we do give people a chance at the lane, but look at how daft you keep making your self look. Even my mate SMS agrees with me on that, and that something these days.

I never knew we were that close !!!...Well one Goole fan rates him, one doesn't. ..What a surprise, all managers divide opinion amongst fans, same as players.

I have been told good things about him, but the "proofs in the pudding" as they say.

I would say he's going to be rather busy over the next month or so recruiting players and finding out who want's to stay after last season, i doubt there will be many..But i suppose a new team gives us new hope eh. :D

By the way Frickley 1, the bidding for you has reached 10p.....must have been Red Ossett

how dare you, i've been brought up to be careful with money, my bid remains at 2p and that's my final offer.

If my offer is successful, i envisage putting duck tape over Frickley1's mouth, taking him to the Ossett Town clubhouse then telling our committee "here's your new Director of Football", then running away very fast.

then the following night, doing the same to Ossett Albion, and then Wakefield, and so on.

And if F1 had posted that some nutters would have condemned it and made it personal. Funny nothing been said about the above posting, As i say some just love to have a pop. Good on you Frickleymad for speaking your mind, pity there's not more of us with our own views and not just going with the crowd. I rest my case. Your silence speaks wonders SMS / Dove.
Why have you got an OLD director of Football at Ossett Town RedOssett?
Nowt wrong with Ossett A and Wakefield as far as F1 is concerned they are both great clubs IMO.
Ossett T is OK really. But some carnt take a bit of banter.
