No Red Ossett or Finchley Tiger as yet. Have Ossett got a manager now? Bet some of the same people have
applied for both jobs.

i wouldn't pay too much attention to that announcement by a Harrogate Railway supporter on Thursday night, the deadline for applications was 7 pm on Thursday and i would be surprised if our committee made a decision there and then. It may well come to pass that Norbury and Nigel Danby will be appointed the new managers of Ossett Town, but i will wait until the club announce it themselves.

I thought Danby and Norbury did a decent job at Goole, but hope Frickley set their sights a little higher.

Think it could be John Reed or the Parkgate boss if Frickley want to take more of a gamble, but I am
terrible at predictions. Maybe Dolby? who resigned at Sheffield Club a while back. Forgotten his name
though I used to watch him quite regularly for Rotherham reserves wheh he was a just starting out.

I'd be surprised if Gary Marrow wasn't interested in the position. Think I'd like Chris Hilton to do the job
at a bigger club before being considered. Robbo would love to be involved I'm sure and would be a great
number two to some one like Chris Hilton. Wouldn't be too surprised to see him get banished to the stand
by officials, he would be passionate about the team and I am all for that.

Craig Elliott (ex Glasshoughton) has been appointed Ossett Town manager apparently.

He has just led Glasshoughton to promotion into NCEL Premier League.

Anybody who gets Glasshoughton up (I used to walk through it or get the bus from Sharlston Castleford via Glasshoughton to get to Whitwood Tec') must have something to offer. Might be a gamble that pays off. I remember a
Hallam fan telling me Glasshoughton was near Bradford - I don't think so! Nothing to where I've been told where Frickley
is over the years, being told it was in Leeds once made me laugh.
