Neil Towler and Danny Walsh scorers. Most other results went our way. Well done blues.

Those angelic scousers that never, never, ever do anything wrong finished with just 9 men... And we kept 11 on the pitch!!

Deserved the win - could have made it easier for ourselves. But a great win nonetheless. Credit to Billy and the boys. Jonah fell ill on the bus over - so Pelly filled in at Centre Half. No Price or Hilts too - so a makeshift back 4. Midfield looked more combative with Groomy in there - and up top - well, Ticker and Moz ran and ran, and ran and ran, and ran... you get the idea. Great to see both Tick and Walshy score - should be a good boost for them individually.

A couple of very winnable games coming up now! Come on lads. Up the Blues!

Great run and cross by Whitey to set up Tickers header. When he does that he's as good a winger as anyone in this league. Surprised their lad was sent off for the clash with Ticker - looked accidental to me but no surprise their 6 went. 3 bad fouls in the first half and a sly dig at Mozzers ribs in the second meant he had to go.

Good three points and just about deserved. 3 points on Wednesday and hopefully relegation fears are just about over.

Without being at the game I have read the report on the Marine website. It seems to be fair and for once from an opposing team, unbiased. It seems Nick impressed. The result is even better considering the formation of the team.

Terry, Adam Nicklin made a brilliant double save early in the second half when the Marine no.10 looked odds on to score, he was as consistant as ever, but for what it's worth my MOTM was Steve Heath, he was wearing the captains armband today, and he led by example.

That's three consequtive league wins for Frickley in the league at Marine, all by the odd goal!

A very good win indeed. The squad players showed their worth.
Nice for the other side to be given the red for a change too.
A run of victories would do nery nicely and isn't beyond the Blues.

Superb win for the Blues yesterday, even better considering that Billy had to patch the team up on the way to Marine - well done to the boys.

I reckon 45 points sees us safe.

With regards to who will go down, I reckon it won't be a "Revelation" that Leigh "Genesis" are dead men walking (Biblical satire there Pope Pickers!) - hopefully Worksop & Witton will join them.

Come on the Blues.

PS - read the match review on the Marine site - completely honest and quite funny, and the forum on their main site is quite unbiased, so well done Marine. We've become accustomed to "Lucky Frickley", "Dirty Frickley" & "Negative Frickley" so the Marine postings are a breath of fresh air.

True, we can't win at Worksop. It will have to be at Hucknall.

Should be a decent contest, the Tigers have improved recently
but so have the Blues. Pity it isn't at Sandy Lane. Though I hear
there could be return to another site on the industrial estate but
it won't happen this year.
My prediction is a draw, unlikely to be a nil-nil but I'd take it. I
personally hope Worksop stay up and believe they will.
