Not being able to get to Nantwich, I decided to visit Wakefield
to watch their game against Halifax, the away side winning four-one
and looked a decent hard-working side with a bit of pace and plenty
of vocal support from their supporters, some of whom spent the whole
match watching and drinking in the bar.
A good game generally and I thought the ref was very good. Interesting
to see the Shaymen have signed Brown from Guiseley - little, tricky, fast
and scores goals and gets under defenders' skins.
Halifax a team we'll probably (little doubt) we'll be entertaining next season.
Should be a good attendance.
A good point at Nantwich, the league website stating our second goal was
an own-goal, don't think Mozza will agree with that!

Thought the ref' did very well at Wakey unlike the home side,
a lot of effort for little reward. A good gate though, over five
hundred and lots of ale sold, the bitter and lager ran out during
the second half - must have made a mint in the bar/clubhouse.
The burger van doing a roaring trade too.
