Should Billy bring in the squad players for the Kinsley Boys game
or stick with the side that did well against Ashton?
Groome could need a little more time to recover from his injury anyway.
Doubt there will be a good turn out unless Kinsley bring a few fans with
them - is that likely? Afraid I don't know much about them.
Be good to have a decent run in the competition and even better to be
in the final at Hillsborough.

Two views, put the first team in and hopefully get some goals to build forward confidence at the risk of injury or bookings. Or a second team and risk a knock out. I for one would put a second team out and concentrate on stopping in the unibond prem and stuff the Sheffield cup.On the point about the gate i for one would like to see a big gate to show we are behind the club and by been there we swell the gate money which gives money to bring in players.

i would say put the first team out after all thats what we would be paying for and a cup run is good for moral these are my views only i will be there so thats one guaranteed

Think I'd put in a couple of the squad players because of the game
on Saturday more than anything else. I like the Sheffield Senior Cup
and have attended all the finals since they have been held at Hillsborough
and seen some good ones over the years and very few stinkers.
Make paying eight quid more palatable if the majority of those that turned
out against Ashton United play, if it is full price, didn't we used to put the
admission price down for Senior Cup games? And with two home games in
a week wouldn't that be a good idea anyhow?

It would be absolute madness to send out the first team, remember the opposition is slightly above Sunday morning pub team standard so even our second string should turn them over without too much trouble.

How would you all feel is Moz or Ticker was taken out of the game by some bruiser of a centre half, which lead to them being injured for the rest of the season. Whilst a final at Hillsborough is nice, this is still a tinpot competition and staying in the Prem is our priority, having the Sheffield Senior Cup on the mantelpiece is no consolation if we get relegated.

If a reserve team is put out, which is possible, should the admission price
reflect that? And should'nt we supporters be informed of the possibilty beforehand?
Saturday's game far more important but I'd still like a win today and an away game
in the next round - anybody know the other ties in this round? Haven't seen it
anywhere.

All the postings have good points, but myself i agree with Mini Maureenio, I think we will just have to leave it with Billy and wait and see. On the matter of gate prise yes I can remember it used to be lower for a game like this, but again we will have to wait and see. Lets just get there to show are support and hopefully see a bag full of goals from the lads.

Having watched a few games in their league I wouldn't exactly call
them a pub team but the standard isn't great. Any team Billy puts out
should be up to the task if they have the right attitude, sadly it hasn't
always be right in the competition in recent seasons.
Up to our players to think and move faster than Kinsley and the officials
to protect without killing the thing, nothing wrong with a good hard tackle.

Don't fancy extra-time in this miserable weather either, but it's better than
a replay I suppose.

Sorry, I dont know if they are a pub team but i take the advice of Mini Maureenio who says they are slightly above a pub team.I have not watched that level so i will bend to his knowledge.

Brought a lot of regulars thankfully. Would have been a poor showing
but for the Kinsley supporters.
Job done and admission price right for the occasion and the weather and
football on the telly - well done to those that decide these things.

Kinsley are in the central midlands supreme league,it is alot higher than a pub team league. They are currently in the process of having flood lights installed and hopefully moving on to the next level.Taking nothing away from Frickley ,Kinsley didnt play to their full potential. They are ,apart from Frickley probably the most successfull side in the SESKU area in recent times ,.having won the S&HJ Cup two years running. You forget that when you went through financial bad times you begged stole and borrowed players from so called PUB teams.Good luck for the rest of the season but remember the grass roots of football thats on your doorstep should be appreciated not condemned as by some FANS last night
