It was interesting to see Guiseley play three men upfront against Eastwood
and it probably won them the game in the end somewhat fortunately. A lot
of managers would have changed to 4-4-2 to tighten-up, that he didn't making
it a very attractive game with both sides going for it.
Of course Frickley could play with three up with Towler, Pell and Morris and
have done so on occasions, but find it hard to get any width when they do.
Probably better two up and someone wide who can beat a man and get a
few crosses in.
Might also be interesting to see how the Blues' central defenders cope with
Eastwood's giant striker, Smith, ex Guiseley and a regular goalscorer and can
cause havoc in the penalty area.
