Will he come straight back into the team? Only Billy knows,
but I don't think anyone would be surprised if he starts. Nice
to see Robbo back as well and not getting a card - keep it up.

Ilson won 1-0.

I think your team played well, had a few long range chances and our keeper saved a 1-on-1.

All the best for the rest of the season.

been back long enough to check out results and table etc...

disappointing to lose that game. Bad start with the penalty - if only all referees gave those... last one i saw given was at Elland Road against Stuttgart - you never get those, but never mind.

Thought Ilson had at least 60% of the ball, but we had the better chances. Adam didn't really have a save to make. It's gonna be a tough league this year and every point will count. Played OK in spells, but the lack of real width down the right is a worry. I'm sure Billy is on to it... Hilts looks exposed and Broughy hasn't been in any of our 4 games for me... Wonder how the team will shape up now the suspensions have finished and possibly a few of the recent niggles will be sorted for Saturday when the league leaders are in town - well, second on GD...

Anyway, good gate, decent away following - lots of newish faces that don't usually travel - so we may well get some increased away support.

Really gutted about the pies though. Was looking forward to that homemade meat and potato pie - but alas, it looks like the credit cunch has really hit home - crap stuff out of packets...

as long as we gave a good account of ourselves i'm happy, sort of :? :?

didnt expect us to win but a point would have been good.

I'd agree with most of the comments already made. Not that impressed by a side that must have cost 4 times ours. Thought we were very narrow down the right -maybe Broughy's been told to play more centrally? It limits our options going forward. Jacko did well in midfield until he tired.

Maybe so (regards Broughy).

Could be an element of having to do more work in there given the absence of Groomy? I suspect he will start on Saturday and that will free up Walshy to do what he does best. Thinking about it, we showed more in that last 10 minutes when Groomy was there - and Broughy was 'allowed' to be more of a wide player...

Some intersting decisions to be made with our centre-half pairing too. Wonder who will miss out from the four we have?? Two aren't going to be very happy.

Good to see some decent comments from the 'Ilson fans too. One even said he thought they were lucky to get the pen and win...

We have been a little unlucky to play four sides who have started really well.

WTFC were the better side in the first half at Frickley and could easily have gone in front. Don't know about your other games.
