not a bad guess eh!!!

pulled this jem from the surfing seadog forum...

a scarborough fan says;

Have to say, not a bad performance against a fair-minded, good passing, hard tackling and vicious bunch of devious lovelies.

looks like they ran into the blue machine!

Frickley far more robust in the second half and looking a lot better
side for it, with Groome bossing the midfield - great cross for the
Morris goal.
A good turn out by Scarboro' fans. i wish their club well for the
season but on that performance they need to toughen up a little.

Or buy body armour for any future "friendly" games against Frickley

Can't recall any yellow or red cards despite Robbo 'The Red'
playing. Not even any " Take him off's before I do! from the
ref'.

Yes, they do. Seen plenty of players get their marching
orders in friendlies over the years. A Sheff Utd player
was sent off last week on tour, thankfully he won't miss
any games in the new season because of it, but the point
is he could have.

For "friendlies" read Frickley?? :?

Just kidding, yeah I have players carded in friendly games too, but the refereeing is much more lenient....otherwise the Blues wouldn't finish with over 8 men

Have to disagree on that one and if Frickley had the
money to dispute it their legal advisors would too probably.

I cannot ever remember seeing a Frickley player sent off
in a friendly, though it could have happened at some time
in the club's past.
