We lost tonight to Farsley Celtic on penalties after a 1-1 draw.

It would have been nice for Stan and the fans to have a win on his first game in charge and of course the team and everyone involved.

The BEST team lost, I'm sure everyone who supported the team tonight didn't go away disappointed, performance and effort wise was the best I've seen for quite a while.

A big game on Saturday, top of league Morpeth at Frickley, before tonight I was thinking we were in for a good hiding from them.

After tonight's performance, I can't wait for Saturday. WELL PLAYED LADS.

It would be nice to see more supporters there, supporting YOUR TEAM.

well said dennis,
I think for most of us the result was secondary to the performance in this unwanted cup competition, that not many attend or put full teams out for, but farsley came with a full strength side and we more than matched them in a very entertaining game.
it was interesting to see how the lads reacted to the change in management and what formation we would line up in.
very happy with the performance but not too downhearted over the result as the lads stood up to be counted and put a shift in, and none of the constantly wanting to play it out from the back.

Better, much better than what I had seen this season. We played football for a change and the team had a bit of vigour.
Well done to Stan and all the team, looked promising and yes we were unlucky not to win in the 90 mins. Well played boys.
