I am to numbers what Blade is to words......are you listening at the back?

£165 divided by 23 league matches is £7.17 per game

£150 divided by 21 league matches is £7.14 per game

So the season ticket price has gone down in real terms & price per game

We'll do pi calculations next week...

Terrific gesture that is after relegation, #notevenenoughforacanoffanta

Mini I think you're missing the point they've dropped down a league but suppose them wages need to come from somewhere

I don't think I am missing a point at all - a statement was made that watching Frickley this season will be more expensive than last season for season ticket holders. It isn't & that has now been demonstrated.

Them wages will cost more than £10 a game Old School... but who cares if promotion beckons!?!

It's only money...

And the point around a 60p saving over the course of a year for season tickets is, quite frankly, hilarious! Come on Mini, whilst I admire your club loyalty, you've got to admit that is clutching straws of epic proportions!

Surely the best way to attract folks to the club (old and new!), is to reduce the gate fee. The bar is cheaper than just about every other Evo club... stick 10p on a pint of lager and 20p on bitter, and reduce the gate to £9. 10p on most items at snack bar and then take a serious look at the soft drinks!! It's simple maths/economics. And... whack 50p on each can of Fanta!!

The gates may go up cos of all free tickets for kids, but they won't buy a few pints and pie/chips...

Was a price reduction even discussed? Our non league neighbours at Kit Kat Cres have reduced their ticket prices by 30%! I know circumstances are different (FT / PT), but the principle is the same

There was a free away trip (value 1000 pence) with last season's - might need an 'x' variable taking into account if it's not running this season?
Otherwise, how about an advertising campaign - "Embrace relegation with a Frickley season ticket and save 3p per game on last year".

Marketing slogan of the year (well, close season so far!) that one.

At this rate you maybe banned from the ground next season lol

Not in real terms though as it mini as for the average man in the street £7.14 as we live and breath now is as a % more out of someone's weekly wage or annual salary than £7.17 was last season due to a number of factors including inflation and the rise of the consumer price index, I love my economics :)

Also even if we take it as a 3p reduction it's not the same product, it's like buying a pint of tesco finest organic milk one day for a 50p then the next buying a pint of cow p*ss for 47p

I could run the club better than Mike the night that's for sure, hopefully they will at least say thanks to me for my free advice

My inside info man at the club has told me this evening that the delay was due to getting ryan and spencer in a meeting at the same time as they are so busy with other commitments, make what you will of that it's only what I've been told

Odd pricing when half season tickets (£80/12 = £6.66 per game) are a better deal than season tickets - :D

a free away trip was offered as part of the deal when purchasing a season ticket BUT, when i tried to use this deal on my season ticket i was told it was the season before and nothing was offered for last season(even though this can be found in the archive section)
