Signed the lad Pattinson as I revealed friday; from what I've seen of him he is half decent but a bit slow

Another that's got a decent wedge to sign

We had Rich Patterson at Ossett Town a few season's ago, really good lad, sort of player opponents love to hate. Had a spell at SPS in D1S so will know that division too.

Believe last season he was in the NCEL.

Richard Patterson played for Clipstone last season, I believe he was their captain (well he was when we played them twice over Christmas/New Year).

His brother, Danny, was also in the NCEL last season playing for AFC Mansfield before moving to Maltby towards the end of the season.

I saw Clipstone v AFC Mansfield last season when there was no love lost between the two brothers as they had a real battle in midfield!

Got to say the new team look as if they are getting a team and half together.
I have not seen money spent like this for years.
Maybe we have found some ambition at last at Frickley from the board.
When all this kicked off i posted about Worksop and the porn king putting money into Worksop some years ago.
The Worksop fans said at that time they would take the good times while it lasted but look what happened.
I really do hope we dont end up like Worksop.
We will have to wait and see I suppose.

pat will do us a job at this level, would like to see spen go back to bailey gooda with a better offer, as looked good with jc the season before last and could come on in leaps and bounds with him alongside him(plus i reckon gav would sooner have him in the same side as him rather than come up against him after the SAHSCF)

Three more really good signings today, hopefully we can keep this up. Seem to be assembling a decent squad, could still do with 2/3 more defenders and 3 more midfielders

Malkowski GK
Austin DF
Cyrus DF
Patterson MF
Williams MF
Dugdale MF
Allott FW
Hopewell FW
Simpson FW

Disagree, certainly Tyler is a player that wI'll scare teams at that level and decent business to get him re-signed, other 2 have more questions marks especially the lad Austin 31 years old never played higher than NCEL and from the times I have seen him won't be mobile enough for the step up, do the know much about theverything other lad

The 2 front lads signed other day, the Garforth lad is a decent gamble young scored plenty ect so fair enough however another that has come on decent money, the lad from malty hopewell from what I have seen won't be good enough not quick or strong enough seems a strange signing that,

Serious question I wonder what the budget is now though by time we have done it's got to be 2500-3000 minimum a week with wages and bonuses we are paying

Ible signs another predicted by the bat, another one on ''scary' money, the budget on players so far must be well over 2k a week, and we still need more players seen as loads have been brought in that play in same position the final budget is easily going to be biggest in league

Cant see any of spencer's 'own signings' getting in the team, are the 2 other centre backs going to get in before JC and Ible??

sorry i have missed something, but i thought all the signings announced so far are spens signings apart from seb and tyler its spen that has brought all the others to the club, looking at the list of players it looks like we are only short of 2 full backs, i would assume he has darker earmarked for the right back spot as not tall enough to play centre back at this level.
looks like we are getting a good squad together.

Ible, JC, big Gav, and the striker from Garforth were all signing anyway all spencer's involvement has done is ensure they have cost the club money. Kai Hancock was another but spencer didn't want to re-arrange the meeting so he went to Ossett

The other signings not at same level in my opinion and ??? Over several of them if they are good enough to step up, darker another 2 small 2 slow not a patch on macca who was deemed not good enough, the 2 others from maltby are no were near evo stick standard

No wonder spencer wanted a DOF to sign the players as the only 'proven quality' brought in so far were players signed by Karl initally and then lined up to come back,

Poor recruitment cost mozza and his sidekick CoCo the clown, and seen as this lad is relying on deals set up your others it's an area I can see him struggling with in the future

does it matter who lined em up?
who dressed em up this morning?
or who tied their shoelaces?
they were signed by spen, during his reign,of this there is no doubt,
as long as they perform on the field i dont think any blues fan will be bothered.
the karl rose era is over we need to move on now.

p.s. is this the same jameel ible that wouldnt sign for rosey 12 months ago?

The very same that would sign and the board wouldn't pay him £30 more, after having a fantastic season the year before,

Like I say good signings and no reason spencer shouldn't bring them in my beef is dont then be all over Facebook saying you have lured them to the club when everyone knows different

And the main concern is the daft money we are paying if that doesn't worry you fair enough, but it's not sustainable without a third party putting money into the club but what happens when the third party stops?
