So hers the question people of the board were Frickley FC struggling financially and if so why?
Anything to do with exorbitant money spent on "loan" players last season cos there was loads of them and most big wage flops.

You'd have to assume finance is a reason though I doubt that's a factor - what's been spent has been spent. Possibly future financial issues?
As there's no facts yet I'll play Columbo... scenario #1....
It's already been mentioned recently that there's no main stadium sponsor in place yet for next season.
2 new people on the board could mean a spinning 5 figure sum for starters; if they also have their own companies then there may be sponsorship opportunities too.
The alternative may be to reduce Karl's budget; struggle for a stadium sponsor; no guarantee Karl will start winning games...
Versus a 'guaranteed' financial stability for a couple of years... maybe even a budget to match anyone's in the league; starts to weigh away from Karl and towards a new regime.... with Karl finance is uncertain / unlikely to get promoted.... with the new option finance is stable for at least a couple of years and more chance of promotion...
If Frickley were managerless would Spencer Fearn have got the job? Probably not. Would he be worthy of an interview? Almost certainly.
Anyway, you get the drift, 1 possible scenario. Such a big U-turn must presumably be money-related though, especially with the somewhat dubious track record of 1 of the new directors in the popularity stakes.
Oh, and just one more thing madam..
