Going back some year ago we had a boxing day game at 11.00am kick off. Worksop fc had a later kick off time so some Worksop fans came to our game. I got talking to some of them about the new London strip club owner money man who had just more or less taken over Worksop. I asked what did they think about him taking over. They said we are not happy but will take the good times (if they come ) while it lasts. Well as we know it dident last long did it?
Look at Worksop today.
IMO Our once great club FRICKLEY has been made a laughing stock.
The Frickley Board well ??????

IN THE COMING DAYS REMEMBER WHAT F1 SAID ABOUT WORKSOP.

F1 totally agree pal, this is going to lead to a team of 18 year old's maybe not initially but that's way it's heading, what other reason have these 2 got to get involved? Apart from feathering there own nest I don't see how frickley as a club can benefit from this and similar set ups at other clubs have ended in disaster see Ilkeston as the prime example long term it will equal the death of the club is just hope someone will be there at the end to pick up the pieces from the ashes

Just a word to Karl and his team. All the best to you all and sorry you had a bad time at Frickley but what really matters is the real fans where with you last season and would have been this season. Have a good summer lads.

spencer fearns is not the chairman at maltby, just the manager.
chairmen also doing the managers job is not a viable position, look at what happened to droylsden with david pace.
so the questions that need answering are
1. who has employed him as manager?
2. who is the chairman that has made this decision?

We still have the same chairman according to the press release (as he's described as 'outgoing' rather than former)
+Any managerial decision is supposedly an overall board decision, innit?

This link maybe of interest - Spencer Fearn, The Early Years - to clear up some uncertainty of his background pre-footy management.

+as already mentioned, he was not Maltby Chairman, just manager (Wilf Race was and still is both chair and chief raffle ticket seller)
