Well played blues needed to be much improved from last time out and we where, like I've said before I will say what I see and praise when it's earned, first 25 thought we was outplayed tbh and relied on 4 big saves from the assasin but fair play we dug in got a foothold in the game and went in front though a top class goal from curtly what a finish lad, 2nd half very scrappy but again we dug in competed with all 11 putting a shift in massive to get the 2nd goal and unlike last time out we saw it though and killed the game, also hopefully we have found the answer to our held striker problem with fairhurst who I thought looked decent and took his goal well, also credit to curtly put a shift in, stoher who was excellent again, and vallers who is stepping into the boots of the machine and looking the part at the mum.

Got to say tho JK again letting himself down getting involved in nonsense on the sidelibes not needed, also why when he starts do none of the board/club officials say anything then when it escalates later on come down on hoody; it's like no one date say anything to him maybe the gaffer should have a word and reign him in he was out of order today but time,

But anyway massive win and credit where it is due, hopefully we can keep improving and finally get some consistency we will need it with tough games coming up, come on blues

Another steady performance, with another 3pts on the table. Good to see us winning the more vital games which is giving us the much needed breathing space. We need to thank Seb for the 3 saves in the first half tho, had it not been for him, then the game would have been out of sight for us. But after that, we got into the game more and it was good to see both strikers grab a goal each. Also a special mention to Mangham and Lawrence, who I thought both played well today.

We keep going. Well done today Frickley.

Massive win and another 3 points against a bottom four club.

First 20 mins Sutton had a few chances and Seb was his usual excellent self then just before half time the goal from Curtly.. watch the video it is a top class finish and good cross and flick on.

Second half well fought and got a debut goal for Waide and the game was put to bed nicely without any great trouble. Onwards and still going away from the relegation zone but plenty still to do.

Also a rare day for the blues... no bookings.

a good performance from the blues, everyone turned up and put a stint in, some big personal performances too, lawrence had his best game in a blue shirt and looked terrific, luke mangham since xmas has gone up a gear and now looks a decent player having added some aggression to his game, jack waters was awesome and was breaking play up, stohrer was....well himself, and mozza, lets give credit to the gaffer as he started off with 3 at the back and after getting overrun in the first 15 mins,(when in all fairness if it wasnt for seb they could have been 2/3 up) changing it to 4-4-2, please lee, leave it at 4-4-2 as this is our best formation, forget all the diamonds and xmas trees, and sweepers pleeeeeease.
the ref had a good game too, she had the respect of the players from the start, and we have had worse sides than sutton up at the lane this season, the front 2 linked well together as showed in both goals, and nice to see bailey back on the teamsheeet too.
gives us breathing space from the bottom four, but still a lot of games to go so keep up the good work blues.

Sutton looked dangerous first half and as mentioned , Sebba kept us in it. Weren't at our best but everybody gave 100% and never looked in any sort of trouble after the first half hour. Only disappointment to me was we gave the ball away too easily when coming out of defence, would like us to find a blue shirt rather than big boot it. Well done to the team, great result and most important another 3 points. Thought all played well but Stohrer awesome in both defence and attack. Impressed with new lad, good flick on for the goal and a goal himself.
