Even though the effort was there from the lads today and we competed well I feel there are 5 or 6 players who are simply not good enough at this level, teams can carry one or two but not half the team. Couldn't see where a goal was going to come from today. First goal was a bit unlucky with the deflection but goals 2 and 3 were just poor defending - a lot of ball watching going on. Some decent performances today from the usual guys and I feel their frustration. We have to win our 6 pointers now.

Disappointing result & a disappointing display. Couldn't fault the effort, but after 15-20 minutes it was obvious to the eye, we were playing an excellent team in Warrington, and had our work cut out to take anything from today's game.

When you're playing against a team that's got betters players than you, you've got to do the basics right. Get tight, keep compact, harras them and kick them if you have to, and do it as a unit. We did some of that, but gave them far too much room in the first half, albeit it we were resolute in defence and they took the lead with a fortunate deflection. But on the balance of play, they were well worthy of a lead.
Unfortunately for us.The yellows kept the ball so well, the Blues couldn't get a foot hole in the game, and impose any sort of attacking threat themselves.

It Didn't help losing the lad on loan at half time to an injury I believe, we reshuffled a few players, and whilst Mangham worked his socks off up top on his own, we lacked any kind of support to him. It looked as though it was only a matter of time before they would break the net again. 3-0 in the end didn't flatter them.

To be frank, whilst the Blues were poor and we looked powderpuff today, you have to tip your hat to an excellent Warrington Town team.Dominated from start to finish and without doubt the best side I've seen at the lane for a few years. They had height and physical presence in both boxes, pinged the ball around with ease, the number 7 absolutely ran the show for an hour.

On a positive note, the new centre half had a decent game and I believe he had the only shot on goal for the blues from a set piece. That shows how poor we were, but how good they were too.

On to next Saturday for a massive game, hopefully we can get a striker in for next week, all too evident today that we lacked that threat and look a bit thread bare up top.

Over and out :D

I will say 3 things seen as your not allowed an opinion on performances anymore and are treated like a citizen of north Korea

1. If Morris and Kay keep us up I will show my bottom on town hall steps I will let them decide which town hall anywhere in Yorkshire
2. Atmosphere up there is crap the dear leaders influence and style of football (did we play any today exept hoofball??) putting people off going full stop or in the bar after the game, and no one dare say anything without someone having kittens in case they hear and dont approve, attendances are dropping while the board fiddle whilst rome burns
3. When I say the pitch today I said it looks poor what's PB on with as it's usually spot on, was then told he has been forced out by the ayatollahs, which is a disgrace why can't he have an opinion on a game? It's like a dictatorship up there

If the board are happy with how things are going fair doo's set the sat nav for ossett, goole and glossop

when i read the article called `managers musings` i thought what an honest interview from mozza, until i got to the part where he hopes the good frickley turn up, what a negative attitude from someone in charge, sounded like an admission of an inability to inject enthusiasm into those under him, so onto gameday, and the ugly frickley turn up, shot himself in the foot im afraid there.
it was gutless, effortless, and embarrassing, why oh why play one up top again, im not a fan of one up top, but you have to have the right person in there to play that formation, something we do not have, and we line up with a left back in midfield and a striker at left back, square pegs again, and james kay named on the subs bench???, it shows we are not good enough.
looking at the league table before the game, warrington have let a few goals in compared to their lofty placing in the table, but their backline looked superb, strength, height, and pace, but then they were not put to the sword much, they did look a decent side, and their number 9 gave the best centre forward display at the lane for 3 seasons.
we huffed and puffed with a bit of effort, but no gameplan, and no quality.
motm for me was macca never stopped and put in a decent effort.
its ok saying we won at halesowen last week and things are fine, but we need to perform and show some guts and spirit in front of our own fans, otherwise the crowds will drop further, cant blame people for not attending as recently the entertainment on show does not match the entrance fee, christmas is coming which should be a time for smiles and happy faces, but we have a lot of doom and despondency, we need 4 big xmas pressies to be delivered, so here is my xmas list.
1. give us a noisy vocal skipper to lead us (luke hinsley)
2. a good striker
3. another good striker
4. a good centre back

Have to agree with most said on here but what I don't understand is time and time again Tyler was told get inside get inside this is on half way line when we all know Tyler out wide with the ball at his feet Runnung at pace is what he does we continually belted it from the back up in air when they won everything up there cos they were all 6 footers yet no one from the bench. Said play it to feet so I assume the manager likes to play that way and hope one of them misses a header and why was Kaye on the bench does he get extra for Christmas bonus
Am sorry to say my beloved Frickley are not a fit for the management and don't help themselves by trying to forge us against them mentality we should all be able to voice our opinions without looking over our shoulders football is all about opinions

Old school your not allowed to say get Tyler wide; even when the only time we got the ball wide he caused a problem and it was the only time in the entire game we looked remotely a threat, I said thats what happens when you get him wide I was told to get behind the team, and the reason is the board are sh*t scared of the management hearing any fan opinions turning round and starting an embarrassing argument

You are allowed to say anything you want so long as you're not swearing if the manager/team aren't performing as they should in YOUR opinion ,what about when large crowds in football league shout out in vast numbers sack the manager sack the board sack the cleaner we are all entitled to OUR opinions

That should be the case but up there your not allowed to voice an opinion in case you upset the special ones and they throw the teddy out of the cot, fact is the truth hurts the board are burying there heads in the sand like an ostrich these 2 won't keep us up Stevie Wonder can see it why can't the board was awful yesterday relegation fodder nailed on but the board don't care, previously even if we was poor win loose or draw people went to socialise talk football enjoy a pint not anymore rather go to the dentist for root canal doing more enjoyable at the minuet
