Well done Blues, keep it up, need some consistency and determination not to fold when behind in matches.
A final with Shaw Lane possible.

Credit where it's due big improvement last night great attitude shown from the first whistle and the players was definitely ''up for it' in stark contrast to stocky who didn't want to be there by the looks of it, 4 excellent goals, played some decent stuff at times, looked so much better without meynell and playing 442 with wingers same on Saturday please square pegs square holes, hope that was side picked on merit and not the "sheff cup side" and we see same or similar side at Ashton

Note of caution you can only beat what's in front of you but stocky were easily worst team we have played this season (denaby apart) and a further response/improvement is still needed in the next few league games also again we where caught out by simple balls played over the top, 3 times in the 2nd half the striker was in one on one and saw efforts saved or missed the target, that needs sorting cos it is every single game.

But fair play to the players and staff we needed a response and got one, tougher test Saturday to come for me next few league games will define our chances and the futures of the manager and his assistant but like I say credit where it's due good performance last nite blues

well done blues, 4-4-2, wow, it shows what we can do when we play the right formation.
delightful to watch, think your comments a bit harsh there dingers, stocksbridge were not that bad and kept plugging away til the end, looks like they lacked experience, but the ball over the top is their strength playing to lumsdens pace.
onto the blues/greens or whatever, defensively solid, creative in midfield, and foragers up front who chased everything, some lovely short passes and retaining possession and respecting the ball was a joy to watch,we played with a lot of confidence in the second half, 4 good goals to enjoy, the central defenders gave the best central defensive performance of the season, working as a pair and not flat like we are used to seeing,(top performance bailey and jack)tyler was hungry for work and caused problems all night, burdett was allowed to show his skills with 2 great individual goals, that 4th goal was a good build up out of defence too, sam akeroyd strolled about the middle of the park like a strutting turkey on new years day, controlling the middle of the park and distributing short simple balls to his willing runners(of which there were plenty)
motm. several contenders out there, but for me bailey gooda was outstanding, the only downside was sebs injury, hope he is ok for saturday.
one swallow does not make a summer, so keep the formation, keep the faith, and carry it on for saturday,
