Sad to see Karl go spoke to him earlier and he really is tired of constantly rebuilding and frustrated at losing players in the summer for the sake of nominal amounts of money spent an half hour speaking with him but his mind was made up, believe me the results so far have hurt him.

My opinion board could have done more to keep certain players and attract others in the summer as much of his good work went to waste.

Good look to Hoody tomorrow, where will club go from here? Long hard season on the cards seems ages ago that 7th places finish now.

First and formost, I want to thank Karl, Strats and James for the last 4 years at the club. Your efforts and the 7th place finish last season will never been forgotten at Frickley.

I can understand them going, after the 7th place finish, I think Karl knew he could do no better with the budget being given. You can't really have a go at the board, I think they gave Karl what they could without paying wages we haven't got.

So, here we go again. Who do we bring in? And can they save us from the season after this start?

We are Frickley, we have been around for 106 years, and we will come back strong from this. Keep the faith people.

As I said after game yesterday I don't blame Karl for the position we're in at the moment, I'm sad to see him go and would have tried to talk him out of it. Must be frustrating to build a good side and then see it dismantled, only to have to start again from scratch. We have Karl and the guys to thank for the great season last year, would be welcome up at the Lane anytime.

I wouldn't say his good work has gone to watse. The fans up here will remember him for the great season last year. Plus we can't magic up money, that the club hasn't got.

We've had bad starts in previous years, god knows how many - but I've got to admit that this one feels a bit different for whatever reason(s) & maybe Karl & Strats & Dudge are feeling that too. You can only go to the well so many times.

Anyway - just remember that they are the management team that brought Gav, Bloory, Luke, Reece, Davie, JC, Jammer, Sebba, Tyler, Jeffsy...I could go on....to the Lane & for that we salute them

Who are the front runners on Bet365 & Paddypower??

thanks to rosey for the last 4 years, we will all have memories of his time here at the lane, some good, some bad, but lets not forget he won us 3 cups during his spell here, also thanks to strats and dudge, surprised to see strats go though as i thought he would have liked a shot at management, as for the next incumbent of the hot seat, there are a few ex blues in management who might like a bash at the job, dont think we will be short of applicants.
