What's your dream fixture this season - Corby away midweek?

Seems to have been a deliberate move away from having local derbies at 3pm over the holidays this season, for some reason. A lot of clubs aren't happy!

The Premier League and Championship have been avoiding derby games at the holiday periods for years. Not good for non league though.

Having said that we have no local derbies but good to play Whitby again august bank holiday and January 2nd.

Why are our two longest trips Workington and Blyth Spartans on a Tuesday night? Glad they are early season so they will not get postponed. Blyth is easy we are one of the nearest to them.

The Evostik Southern League fixtures have no matches on December 24, neither do Ryman League, but in Northrn Prem:-Workington travel to Blues, Whitby to Ilkeston, Spennymor to Warrington, Marine to Blyth and similar distance matches in other divisions. Which unicel brain thought these matches up? Why not mid week just before Christmas 17 to 24 since there does not seem to be any fixtures or is that that too difficult?

Clubs have the option of pulling forward the Xmas eve fixture to midweek , as long as there's a mutual agreement.
