Ha ha, seems what he said was basically "The budget has been restructured. We're not paying silly money anymore. Er - not that we ever have!" At which point the interviewer passed him a shovel.

Don't know what kind of money Taddy are paying, but one thing they do have is a the potential for decent crowds and sponsorship on a longer-term basis than most clubs that chuck cash around. So long as they don't get daft just cos they're on the up, I reckon they could do well over the next few years.

in fairness to taddy they do get about double through the turnstiles than we do so that must allow them to if they wish. they do have a millionaire chairman who has pumped a fair bit of money in over the last 3 seasons. raising the profile of the club and increasing the crowd numbers. and the season before last the chairman used to put on a free bus for supporters to all away games,
good luck to taddy, clearly a team on the rise. if you want to look at a team throwing silly money out look at handsworth parramore, with their gates of 60 odd.
