Bugger, it is a bit of a blow. But will never blame a player for wanting to play at an higher standard. Just hope that he's the only player that leaves the club.

All the best Hazel.

No one came sniffing around when we were finishing 18th & 19th, a result of our 'success' this season I guess

That's football players come and go, good look to Jacob at Gainsborough.

My own opinion however is he would have been better served with at least another 6 months under Nip and Strats twice the player in April he was in Sept and plenty more in the locker to be coaxed out as despite his good goal record he did frustrate at times

Its what happens tho sadly after a great season.... i would be a bit peed off if players went to another club in our league. But i don't dont think you can blame any players for wanting to play in an high league and do well. Football is a short career after all.

Some decent strikers at lower levels who may be good additions to fill Jacob's boots, Wells at Parramore, Boardman at Ossett Albion, or a guy called Ched Evans who hasn't got a club  .any of those would be worth a punt..

He doesn't like Jeermans though (one for the younger listeners)

wonder if The Dock is still officially under contract hence the loan? funny he hasn't just been realised seen as no one has seen him for 9 months

Would have liked to have seen Wakefield back in a blue shirt next season, but maybe Karl has others in mind, lets be fair as much as I rate Jack he wouldn't have got many games last season and was only on the bench in his brief spell back

good luck to both lads at Ossett

A massive blow to us would be the potential loss of "The Engine" that is Luke Hinsley allegedly talking to moneybags FC chairman Mr Wood.

no surprise there cos theyve lost their best 2 midfielders, maybe the money is going down the drain or theyve realised their ambitions to play at a higher level.

I know Matt Thornhill has joined Gainsborough, who else has left BS?
