A big, big loss for the club. Awaiting the explanation. Time for the next person to come forward. Often a most unlikley person emerges, Agree Steve hase been a true stalwart of the club, maybe he can attend and enjoy the football without all the other `worries`associated with his positions.

Mr Frickley is a big loss to this club, hope its not permanent and something can be sorted.
Thanks for everything Steve, most people are unaware of all the sterling work you have done for the Blues.

Just like to add my best wishes, Steve, and thanks for everything you've done for the club over the years.

I don't know the reasons for this but would expect some kind of statement from the club, if there's anyone to do one now Steve's left.

If you fancy a change of scenery Steve I can find a job for you

I can only reiterate what others have said, you will be missed and will be a very hard act to follow.

Good luck for the future and I hope all is well.

Well first of all I was surprised to hear Steve was retiring as I didn't realise he was 65 :o
Question is - what can he possibly find to fill the extra 50 hours a week he'll now have on his hands?
Definitely an all-time legend among club secretaries in the SESKU area though - maybe if there's enough left over from the bucket fund, we could honour him with a small morph-like clay statue clutching a video camera at the top of the steps in the main stand? 8)

Thanks for all the comments (apart from boyspen's age related one - lol), it's nice to know my efforts have been appreciated.
Might see you Saturday FT. Think I'll either be at Armthorpe, Goole or Worksop.

Admit it, you just didn't want to go to Workington

That's why their fans are always so 'giddy' when they come to us - a day out of Workington & the chance to wear a shell suit for an entire day. They are living the dream.....

Also worth considering round here is Tadcaster v Handsworth - as near as you can get to a title decider with 7 games to go in the NCEL (and subsidised beer in the town)
