What a unit the Frickley boys were tonight - everyone of them ran themselves into the ground. Special praise to some of the more unsung players tonight too - Jake Ellam & Sam Akeroyd put in a right shift.

However, one final word - LUKE HINSLEY! What a monster

must agree there mini, many of them stood to be counted tonight considering. brilliant goal by Jacob.
should have been comfortable at halftime but they took the second half eventually, but another great result for the team.

what can we say about luke ???? the man is making himself a legend, well done luke.

a great rousing performance from the blues against a dangerous looking nantwich side, when i saw the line up i feared the worst, but they all stood up to be counted tonight, hard to single anyone out but ellam was superb until going off, and the young referee had a decent game too, any neutrals in the crowd tonight should think it was money well spent, keep it up boys, officially safe now. :D :D :D

Agree with the comments on the forum. Backs to the wall but everybody put in a shift and backed each other up against a team who have scored for fun this season averaging 2 goals per game. The referee would have a decision to make had Hazel's goal not gone in as he was taken out by the keeper.

Great battling display by the Blues against a physical side. 100% effort by everybody.
3 points are great but it was the spirit and commitment that did it for me.

Deserved the points for the sheer will and determination alone, let's be fair Nantwich are a decent side and they threw everything at us Not as if they were on the beach, it was backs to the wall at times but we had chances to put it to bed before then, but what a monumental effort from everyone in a blue shirt,

At the end one of the fans round the tunnel shouted to Luke Hinsley as he came off 'your a machine' couldn't describe him better myself he isn't human he is a machine he never stops if that lad doesn't win player of the year it will be an outrage in my opinion not that others such as Tyler, JC, Ible, Sebba, and others haven't been brilliant but he has been different gravy all season
