Well that was lively, biggest set of clowns since Salford, week ref, very whistle happy, 1st half thought we were a bit sluggish never got hold of ball in final 3rd didn't get brad or Tyler in game at all, but all they had was knocking it long looking to play Pilkington in, 2ND half made more of a fight of it, thought they looked a better side when Pilkington went off and 12 came on, both sides had chances sebba made some good and brave saves, but we hit bar, hit post and had a one on one, all in all good point on we go come in blues

Ridiculously tough schedule coming up though with no game now for 11 days, then 5 games in the 11 days after that!

1st half highlights shouldn't take long, 2nd half was quite 'robust' at times. I think the fact that we comfortably dealt with a team that were on a right run & have a shout for the play offs speaks absolute volumes for our team. A very good team effort - not a night for individuals, everyone dug in & did a job. Davies effort that hit the bar would have been a cracking goal. & don't forget we did the same to Stourbridge Saturday.

Don't know what it is with the Mancs but Salford & Ashton are pretty much the same - horrible, whingeing nigglers - Lankies are a bit retarded, maybe that's the issue.

Squeaky harris time when Seba went down after that magnificent double save - but it takes more than a few Mancs kicking him to keep The Assassin down.

The lads get a well deserved rest now until a week on Saturday - when the 'Frickley' real ale is on in the bar. Bob & Al, get back - I'm first in the queue!!

Scrappy game n happy to take a point

Few low key performances, hinsley was off last night with a few others,I know he's been injured but ready to play now is Jake ellam,it must be hurtful watching lads play like that n he still doesn't get a chance

Where's Simon lenighan is he injured or left

Whatever tactics were applied last night didn't work

Thought Hinsley had a good game, ran till he dropped as ever, great effort from everybody. Let ourselves down by giving the ball away, hit it anywhere first half and they came straight back at us, last season we would have shipped a couple of goals. First half it looked as though we were being overrun, second half completely different, passing the ball from defence and knocking ball into space which allowed Tyler to do his thing. Apart from the great goal line clearance I can't think of anytime we were really in trouble. Could easy have won it, well done Blues.

thought it was horrible to watch, both teams with 5 in midfield really cramped things up in there, both sides resorting to the long ball, don't think that formation suits us at all, would sooner see us play 4-4-2 and knock it about a bit like we have been doing for much of the season, given the form we have been in, im sure they would have taken a point before the start, MOTM - seb, 3 top class saves including the double whammy when he got a knock,(feared the worst when he was down) a draw a fair result for both sides on that showing.
p.s. just nice to have reached mid-march without having to keep looking over our shoulders.
