Well done boys. Just listened to the commentary and the reporters were saying how bad the ref. was. He didn't do too bad for them Davie sent off and two penalties from which they scored. 50 points at this stage of the season. Great.

Blyth version of match report on http://blythspartansafc.co.uk/new_php/?p=13866. Will be glad to see their video when it goes on line. Nice to see Bailey Gooda getting involved on twitter, he obviously enjoyed the win. Thought he made a great start to his time with us against Skem. I don't mind Blyth being top of the league so the "big boys" have to fight it out. We have to play Barwell, Stourbridge, Nantwich each twice and Darlington , Workington towards the end. We could have a say who is in the play offs.

Great result for the boys last night, especially down to 10 for the last half hour - puts last weeks defeat at Stamford into perspective.
We'll certainly have a say in the play offs, whos to say we're not in them with the way we're playing, Karls doing a great job.
Hope Blyth win this league, good fans, good manager and team plays good football. Normally sweating by this time of the season in the bottom three, what a transformation - and we're good to watch.

Hit the nail on the head there Bluebeard, Yes it's actually good to watch, long may it continue !

Well done to all who made the journey up, be it players, staff or fans as I don't believe they got back until around after 2am this morning.

Better late then never, but here is my view from the Blyth match last Tuesday.

Just wanted to say a massive well done to the boys, Karl, Strats and Hoody for the well they performed. The two goals from Brad were pure class to say the least and look forward to watching them again on the highlights if there is any. To be honest i thought we was going to go on and lose the game after Blyth pulled one back and when we went down to 10 men also. But the continued pressure by the team got us another goal and brilliant win. Again well doen boys and thanks for making it one of the more remembered away days. Lets conintue this fine run at Barwell on Saturday. Up The Frickley.

Here's one for Tmc. When was the last time we bet Blyth away in the league?

TMc, Scorers were Annan, Armstrong and O'Donnell.

We also beat them 3-1 away on 24 Feb 2004 with scorers of Sheriffe 2 and Hatto so that would have been the last time!

Maybe we should only play them away in February!!!
