I came across that myself on twitter this morning. I think he took his ball in with the frickley one
I'm still around.
Just to clear things up, and have right of reply, I shut down the Frickley website because interest waned, nobody from the club showed any interest in really getting involved in it and so on. I had mooted the idea of relaunching the supporters club and to use the supporters club to elect all time greats into a hall of fame and so on but was ignored by the club on that idea. In that period I also got the kitman at Man United to send over some player stuff to sell for the redevelopment fund, just trying to do my bit. Things at the club changed, they put in place their own plans for how to present the club's history and have now relaunched the supporters club so all turned out ok really.
There are no hard feelings from me on the matter. The time involved etc and the research and so on was all undertaken by me as nothing but a goodwill gesture to the club that two of my own family members played for in the past. The club never asked me to do it, I did it because I wanted to, for the club, for the fans. Poor health in the last 12 months has given me free time and I'm using that time to research another, smaller local club. Nothing official, simply for my own enjoyment.
