Frickley have announced they have signed some dude from X Factor, some may be familiar to the guy if you watch the programme, my wife is !. I haven't watched it since the days of Michelle McManus when i used to lock myself in the bedroom with a box of tissues.

See linky, And yes our next signing is going to be Either Bruce Forsyth from Strictly, or Ant n Dec.....More of a Strictly fan myself because of the scantly clad ladies !!.

I just hope the lads a decent player.....and he can get me a signed Nicole picture, I know Mini is a big Louis Walsh fan so you never know !!

and here's his x factor audition http://www.bing.com/videos/search?q=jak ... 44&first=0

For people like TMc . he's the one singing, not sat on the left of the judging panel  oh and Mini, he doesn't watch much TV

Steve, I trust you sneaked into the small print that his mentor must also attend every Frickley game (regardless of whether Jake is playing or not), if you have I'll see you on Saturday :D

I wish him well at Frickley and on X Factor ( I don't watch it), should get the Blues some publicity. Might even get
a few curious fans at home games to see if he plays. Probably needed another forward/winger in the squad. Cannot
say I know much about him as a player.

That wouldn't be difficult in my case, with my swollen leg and foot. Hope he is, I like pace in the side.

looks like he has been playing in the scunthorpe sunday league according to google, not much of a pedigree that but if hes good enough, there are plenty in sunday football that are good enough,(buxton took one from sunday football a few years ago,and is a hit for them)just need the drive and ambition and recognition to get to our level.
good luck jake.
