it appears they are trying to sober themselves up after being dumped out of the cup by belper- who just like ourselves are also a dirty pub team and play in a league that is akin to a sunday school league.

Yes, been reading their forum and i couldn't stop smiling to myself. After that flattering result against us, where i still believe we were the better team, they thought the garden was all rosie. Now it's Atkins out. Maybe premature, but if Atkins does find himself out on his ear in the near the future, it wouldn't surprise me if Rinky would be in the mix for that job.

I like Atkins as a manager, but maybe that relationship has runs it's course, we shall see.

Didn't Karl Colley, ex Frickley score for Belper? Now he does look like a dirty pub team player. Just about ex of
clubs galore, certainly been around, thought he'd finished playing for some reason.

He was indeed, SMS. For a centre half he wasn't bad as a centre forward. Was very slow the last time I saw him play,
think it was for Hallam. Sheff Utd signed him from Newcastle United I believe, I never saw him play for the Blades. Not
sure if he ever made the reserves. Remember him having a brilliant game away at Alferton, they had been unbeaten at
home until that game, their fans not too happy in the pubs after the match, but neither was I, as my train had been delayed
by forty minutes, luckily there was a boozer up the road from the railway station.
