Cramlington United 1 Willington Quay Saints 1 (Match abandoned 44 minutes due to serious injury)

Game was nicely poised at 1-1 with half time looming but saints midfielder colin bell went down in agony after sustaining a knee injury resulting in an ambulance arriving 30 minutes later and with darkness arriving fast the ref had no chance but to abandon the game.

Dissapointing for both sides as crammy were looking for their first point of the season while the saints looked to win their second game in a row but at the end of the day players health comes before anything and the fixture will be rearranged for a later date in the season.

Wallington 0 -1 Wallsend Town

First defeat of the season for Wallington against a good Wallsend Town team. It was a pretty tight affair with both teams having chances, unfortunately Wallsend took one of their's and we didnt!

They're comfortably the best side we've faced so far and look like a team who will score plenty of goals throughout the course of the season - they were lively up front and had a useful midfield. Based on Wednesday's evidence, I'm not surprised they've made such a good start.

Whilst its disappointing to lose our unbeaten tag, we can still take plenty of positives out of the game and we move swiftly onto tomorrow's game at Forest Hall.

Good to see Justin along watching, hopefully we'll have him back involved in a few weeks time.

Ponteland 0 v 1 Walker Central

Walker finally got thier first win of the season but were made to work hard for it ,we took the lead from a free kick on 30 min then a minute later Ponteland could of leveled it but put wide.Second half Walker had 2/3 chances that could of and maybe should of killed the game of,but in the end it was a nervy last 5
