Any news from Ponteland United? That's where I'm hoping to go tomorrow.

Harraby v. Cramlington - Prem. Lge.
Todays game is ON. K.O. 2.30 :D . Have been down to check pitch, & although the ground is white with 'Frost' , it hasn't got into the ground, just a thin crust on top that was already disappearing as I walked on it. A word of praise for the Council who worked on the pitch last week as it looks the best its being for a long time. No sign of any fish or polar bears

Spoke to the Ponteland secretary not too long ago and it's game on up there for a 2 o'clock kick off. Ground number 111 here I come!

Harraby 9 Cramlington Town 0
Harraby finally returned to the 'Bernabau' in some style, reaching the break 3 up & adding a further 6 in the 2cnd. half with Andrew Douglas claiming a personal tally of 4. Town were unfortunate that everything Harraby hit appeared to go in, but they have been threatening to do that to somebody all season :) Another good thing to come out of the day was the pitch held up well when we expected it to 'Cut up', so if the weather is kind  , we should be able to reduce our backlog of games, hopefully  .

after 8 weeks of postponement, whitley vs northbank eventually took place, whitley winning 4-0, could/should have been a lot more, whitley much the better side, northbank rarely threatend, whitley keeper only having to make 2 saves in the entire game. think its seaton burn in the next round......i think

Can anyone tell me what is happening at Cramlington Town? 7-0 loss last week against cullercoates and then 9-0 against Harraby this week! When I have seen them a few times earlier this season they have looked quite strong at the back! Have they lost players? Is there new management in place? I had penciled in their game this week vs Carlisle, but may opt for a more competitive game if they dont have a team.
