Personally looking at the killy squad i can see them winning it. Uni will be there and Blue Star should do well, Rutherford have a big decent squad and a good management partnership this year so i wouldn't count them out.

1 AFC KIILLINGWORTH
2 NEWCASTLE UNIVERSITY
3 NEWCASTLE BLUE STAR
4 GATESHEAD RUTHERFORD

I'm sure most people expect Killy to be up fighting it out with the Uni for the league. I'm sure Deano has that expectation himself. points are won on the pitch though not the teamsheet but if they have a strong start I can't see anyone catching them

No idea on any other sides really. Wallington seem to have lost their main striker from last year who will be tough to replace and I know Rutherford have but a decent side together and will certainly be far more competitive than they have been in recent seasons but I'b be surprised if they are challenging promotion.

Will be watching on with interest and may take in a couple of mid week games if we're free

Very tough to really gage how we will do at Rutherford this season. It's been a big summer with plenty changes to the squad so we will just take each game as it comes and see how we go in what will be a very challenging and competitive league this season, no expectations from us.

As people have mentioned Killy and Uni will obviously be very strong as well as Newcastle Blue Star who I also think will do well.

It's going to be a long and tough old season that's for sure for everyone.

Killy and Uni will be miles ahead of anyone else.

The rest of us will fight for 3rd place to 16th place.

If Killingworth are top or close too it. will they be applying for promotion & do they have to do much to their ground?

Killingworth have a lot to do to their ground to bring it up to Northern League standard. Entry to the ground is via one gate which gives access to all the Junior pitches as well. There is no floodlights for the main pitch and no seating. Hard standing does not go all around the pitch.

I would imagine Killy have a plan should they be there or thereabouts. They didn't merge the 2 clubs to stay in the alliance. The uni will definitely apply or they wouldn't be at Prudhoe.. Ponteland will be looking at going up if the new ground is completed I wouldn't be surprised to see an alliance team move to team Norths Pitch . Definitely a very close affair at the top.
