Why do clubs only use social media when they win. Lose and nothing and avoid the subject of losing.
Win lose or draw show humility and post result.

I fully agree too. It takes nothing to praise the opposition if they've won, you never know they might do it back one day.

Overall though I do wish there were more reports to read, win lose or draw!

Totally agree . Win lose or draw. Social media is the best way you can raise your clubs profile.

Win the league last year, posting results match reports
Lose games and nothing gets a mention Until they start winning I suppose. Always congratulate the opposition. can’t always lose and be unlucky.

Is this aimed at Killy?
I thought it was in general as throughout the leagues whether it’s NL, Alliance or Sunday’s a lot of clubs only post on here or twitter when they win.

Is that aimed at Killingworth?

The lad who updates our Twitter isn't at every game and will always tweet the score when he is there win or lose.

We have wrote several reports when we have also lost too. We don't always write them, even when we win. Feel free to DM who you actually are and what your concerns are though and I can let you know if your that worried about it.

Also, we have written 10 match reports in total since last July??? So your point of we always write them and don't when we lose is complete rubbish!!!

I thought this post was a generalisation.

If it's aimed at Killingworth Town then I disagree, they've been one of those clubs who have tried to raise the profile of the league by writing match reports. Everyone accepts there may be empty weekends, but Killingworth write more than most clubs put together

So did I at the start mate. Makes me angry when people comment negatively on things when people take time unpaid out of there busy schedules to do things such as reports etc.

To be fair, this forum doesn't see much activity. I know it was normally me and Chinny who would post weekend scores etc but that has also stopped in last few months.

In an ideal world, it would be great for the club to have people in place to work on social media and write reports consistently, but that's never going to happen I am afraid.

We have always tried to write a match report for our website/Facebook/Twitter and local free newspaper, win, lose or draw, but sometimes it's not always possible ....

At the end of the day, good as it may be, a match report is probably the least important of what has to be done by those involved at clubs on a Matchday to get football on and to write it properly, takes a lot of time and effort and yet still people criticise.

Probably not worth it at the end of the day for the limited attention each write up gets at Northern Alliance level (or that might just be us)

Our website will get more 'hits' for a news article on a new signing or something, than those who may like to read on how the match has gone.....

I used to put ours on here every week copied off our website tbh, Killy, Percy and Rutherford along with ourselves used to put on every week more or less so having a pop at Killy is way off the mark. Whitburn another that regularly used to put on, I dont do reports now but will make an effort to copy them off the website, Win Lose or Draw from now on :D :D

Chris Munro does a great job on our reports on our website and rarely misses a goal, Great report and vidios every week. It also gets shared on Facebook and twitter. by a few of us, I agree with Percys comment that a lot more views on facebook and twitter than on here which is a shame.

Chris got this goal of the season contender to the joy of the lad who banged it in. And it was opponents who scored
