Once again following on from a similar topic on the northern league board I feel the alliance board is a bit dull these day so I ask who have been the best goalkeepers, defenders, midfielders and striker's, managers and finally pitches you have seen so far this season?

Il got first, I've seen a limited number of games this season but the two little strikers at heaton stan the 3 days I have seen then have un playable, especially the left footer who was at whickham last year. I have seen him score each game I have been at Rutherford, Whitley bay and killingworth. In one of the same games earlier in the season the Rutherford keeper (now Percy main?) was outstanding and honestly did well to keep the score down and along with The lad in goal at amble are the best I have seen so far. As for amble Ross gair who I have seen a few times over the last few season looks a class act which is why amble are doing so well! The best young midfielder I have seen by far was the lad at seas ton deleval, he did not stop running and looked a constant threat not sure of his name all I heard was nipper?

As for managers I always like Watching Mick (seaton deleval) on the sideline very animated for such a nice bloke! As for the nices pitch I haven't been to that many grounds but again seaton delevals pitch was nice also Whitley bays which is to be expected I suppose.

So if your bored at work like me, have your say.

The best keeper is in my opinion Shanny (heaon stan)with our keeper Neil and Percy Mains new keeper ex Rutherford. Right back I think could be Michael Scott with us only 16 but at Shrewsbury Town next week on trial, left back Dave Low/ Craig Johnson (Seaton del) / Jason Ritchie Blyth Town, centre backs Jack Donnison (Blyth town), wear (Heaton Stan). Left wing Ashington Colliers have a quality young left winger, centre mid (nipper has signed for Blyth Spartans), Amble lad centre mid though Heaton Stan would not be argued as a number one choice of twin centre mids, left wing Kyle Devlin Blyth Town, strikers Jon wright, Lee Johnson (Heaton Stan), David Brown (Ashington).

Not seen many other teams like Carlisle City, Harraby United and others. Our pitch at Delaval has he hours ands spent on it and has basically a full time groundsman looking after it, the ref on sat said it was the best he had been on for a long time which made the groundsman very happy.

As for manager Corkey does a great job at Shankhouse and knows is stuff.

Yeah just thought it was a jump too far because not really getting a chance but hopefully a loan to the Northern League and an opportunity to show what he can do......as mad as a box of frogs though by the way!

Havent seen many teams play this year but from what I have:

Whitley Bay's team is of course littered with young 'uns with bags of potential. The young front two who played against Percy Main were very lively, Lewis I think one of the lads was called - potential to be a very very good player!

Chris Bell up top for PM is another young lad with masses of potential!

Goalkeeper for me would have to be "Big Teeth" at Percy Main
Chapman at Heaton stan is a decent full back with the big lad at Blyth standing out when we played them last week.
Kyle Devlin is a very good young player along with Chris Bell from PM
