Glancing at the fixtures, some big games tonight in the Prem, all featuring the early top 6! Harraby v Carlisle City and Whitley Bay A v Percy Main stand out as very local fixtures, but the big game has to be last season's Div 1 champions v last season's Prem champions, Amble v Heaton Stann. Anybody going along?

I'm hoping to visit Amble for tonight's game with Heaton Stannington. I've never been to the ground before.

Wallington v Cramlington Postponed.

The groundsman could not see the lines to paint them. It appears our season is destined to stay grounded.

Currently 2-1 to Amble United after 18 mins. Both teams have hit the woodwork as well and other good chances. Cracking start to the game.

Amble United 3-4 Heaton Stannington. FT. Amble hit the post near the end again as well. What a game!

Whitley Bay 0 - 1 Percy Main AFC

Fantastic result considering who we had missing. Proud of the lads.

Morpeth Town A 0-8 Reserves
Another great result from a confident Reserves side that tore Morpeth apart with neat football
All the damage was done in the first half as Scott Westaway secured a Hat-Trick (2, 17. 30) Dylan Williamson (31) and Josh Laverick (38)
Half Time 5-0
Second half, the Reserves scored another 3 goals through a David Scott Hat-Trick (48, 78, 88)

So 2 Hat-Tricks in a game for the Reserves.

Under The 3 games the of new management they have won 3 out of 3 and scored 16 goals and conceded 1

Next up are Newcastle Uni Away on Saturday

Seaton Delaval 4 Shankhouse 3

Well to be honest it was a local derby cracker with everything. Delaval went 2-0 down in first half with Shankhouse dominating, we had to change 4 players round just to cope. Second half made a formation change and had some very frank talking, to be fair the players responded but only after Nial our keeper saved a pen, it seemed to spur us on. We then scored three to take a 3-2 lead but Shankhouse hit back to level with 20 seconds to go we scored the winner.

It was a cracking game that probably should have seen the points shared.
