Chances, chances, chances .... superb hit by Ban, superb ball through from Josh; Nicol just didn't have the legs to take it on.

Stan getting the ball back to front much quicker in the 2nd half started pulling us about, resulting in Grant having to get across the width of the pitch to make a bonkers challenge to give the pen away.

Spot on summary by Wakey in the Northern Echo ..... but don't think we're too far away ..... need to get Henderson in the game more, he caused panic everyone he had a run at them; ignored a couple of times.

Love the mobility of Jack Oliver but need to work on holding it up better

Hope Clarky makes a quick recovery.

Great to see all the options available on the bench

MOTM Ban ...... very good start to the season, threat going up for corners and the main man defending our corners .... good little partnership developing with Greaves

Spot on mate. Didn’t do enough to win but didn’t deserve to lose.
The young lads have came a long way already since July and it’s great to see but still need plenty improvement I felt some were way off the game and if they aren’t involved they need to get involved.
We didn’t win anywhere near enough 1st or 2nd balls meaning we weren’t close enough to the Stan players. It’s important we all do jobs, win tackles, 2nd balls and not expect others to do it.

The bigger picture is we’ve had a fantastic start but it’s september not March so nobody is getting carried away and Saturday was a reality check to anyone that was getting excited.
It’s great to have Dicka back involved after his cricket commitments finished, he’ll add much needed experience and will help the younger lads a lot.
We now get our heads down and focus on learning from mistakes and set about starting another little run.
