Vast improvement from the Thornaby game.

Everyone looked much more comfortable playing 4-4-2 and with round pegs in round holes everything had a more organised feel about it ..... superbly marshalled by Maz.

Good to see Azza back at left back allowing Whitey to get further up the pitch - one of his 60% games, few early mistakes and he disappeared for a while, doesn't seem to get a lift when he does do some good & neat things.

Thought Josh King had another decent game - hope he gets a run at right back.

Aaron Thompson looked happier out wide, not overrun like he has been in centre midfield.

Upfront Clarkie looked like a man on a mission and should have had a couple more goals.

MOTM : DHepps ..... looked out of sorts so far this season ..... back to his determine best on Friday, headed, kicked, tackled, tried to get forward, shot on goal and covered all across the line when others made mistakes

Enjoyed the match at Jarrow and I thought we thoroughly deserved a point at least. Chances at both ends and just glad Clarkie got what he deserved for his endeavour late on. I thought Maz and Kieran were very good in the heart of the midfield, Alex came more and more into the game as it went on and I thought the introduction of the subs was spot on as when Maz tired after a great shift the introduction of Dan McGuire gave us another option going forward and Hepps (M) another focus up front . Can't disagree about Hepps (D) as MOM thought he was excellent. I wasn't there on Saturday so can't comment but from what I heard from the lads this was a performance on another planet. Back home on Saturday against Esh who have started well so another tough game. lets hope we get a performance like Friday night and not last Saturday.
