A definite chance lost to get that elusive 1st home win of the season ...... didn't think there was much to beat in WA.

Some decent chances in the opening stages, squandered.

Nothing much sticking up front - poor Dom again playing the target man, getting balls fizzed in and around his head & only had a couple of runs all game.

Midfield playing side to side, with WA nicking it out wide and causing trouble.

MOTM : Dan Bedding - decent job across the 90 - some last man tackles and at least tried to make space to get forward but was starting too far back to make an breaks into the box. Wasted that deep.

Guess that's the beauty of football as it's all about opinions.
We should have been two up by the time West scored from a poorly defended corner, however we got down their left hand side time and time again but either a poor final ball or good defending stop our attack.
2nd half we again got into great areas but the final ball wasn't there.
As for MOM Dan himself admitted he was poor on the night giving the ball away time and time again.
Dom Laws was playing in behind Hepps as well.

Chance missed to grab 3 points but we take it on the chin and move on. Some of us just need to take a bollocking and when we give the ball away or hit balls into 10 acres of space don't turn and blame anyone else, we all give the ball away and we all make mistakes but it's critical we minimise those mistakes during a game.

Its hard to criticise but Maz pinpointed the main reason we lost and that was final ball. West scored in the first half with their only real chance and up to that point we were on top. They grew in confidence as a result of that and the lad 'shinned' it for the second. We had enough chances to get something out of the game but didn't take them, and to be honest West defended well and looked comfortable.....the key difference was that they didn't concede possession, were calmer on the ball and more relaxed.....attributes that confidence breeds.
